| The Federal Reserve Board today announced its approval of the applications by Royal Bank of Canada, Montreal, Canada, and RBC Centura Banks, Inc., Rocky Mount, North Carolina, under section 3 of the Bank Holding Company Act, to acquire Admiralty Bancorp, Inc., and its wholly owned subsidiary, Admiralty Bank, both in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The Board also announced its approval of the application by RBC Centura Bank, also in Rocky Mount, under section 18(c) of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act, to merge with Admiralty Bank.
