A public hearing will be held to gather information about how the Board might use its rulemaking authority to curb abusive lending practices in the home mortgage market, including the subprime sector, in a way that preserves incentives for responsible lenders to provide credit to borrowers.
The hearing is free and open to the public. Registration is required. Attendees will be required to show a valid form of photo identification, such as a driver's license, to enter the meeting. The hearings are accessible to persons with disabilities.
