As shown in the illustration, the previous special ordering period (through the Zachary Taylor Presidential $1 Coin) consisted of a two-week pre-release staging period, followed by the Public Release Date and a four-week introductory period. The current special ordering period (beginning with the Millard Fillmore Presidential $1 Coin) consists of a three-week pre-release staging period, followed by the Public Release Date and a two-week introductory period.
