The Federal Reserve Board today announced its approval of the applications and notices of NationsBank Corporation and NB Holdings Corporation, both of Charlotte, North Carolina, to merge with Boatmen's Bancshares, Inc., St. Louis, Missouri ("Boatmen's"), and thereby acquire Boatmen's banking and nonbanking subsidiaries. Attached is the Board's Order relating to this action.
