The Federal Reserve Board today announced its approval of the proposal of SunTrust Bank, Atlanta, Georgia, to merge with 26 wholly owned subsidiary banks ("Merging Banks") of SunTrust Banks, Inc., Atlanta, Georgia, and to retain and operate branches at the locations of the main offices and branches of the Merging Banks. Attached is the Board's Order relating to this action.
