ACTION: Final rule. SUMMARY: The Board is amending Regulations D and I, Reserve Requirements of Depository Institutions and Issue and Cancellation of Capital Stock of Federal Reserve Banks, respectively, to define the location of a depository institution for purposes of Federal Reserve membership and reserve account maintenance. These amendments will facilitate interstate banking. EFFECTIVE DATE: October 1, 1997.
