The Federal Reserve Board today published proposed revisions to the official staff commentary that applies and interprets the requirements of Regulation M, Consumer leasing. Comment is requested by January 22, 1999. The proposed revisions provide guidance on disclosures for lease advertisements, multiple-item leases, renegotiations and extensions, and estimates of official fees and taxes. The Board's notice is attached.
