"Cash, Check, or Cell Phone?" Protecting Consumers in a Mobile Finance World, an Emerging Issues Forum organized by the Federal Reserve Board, was held from 8:30 am-5:00 pm Tuesday, February 23, 2010, at the Board's Martin Building in Washington, D.C.

The Forum brought together banking and industry leaders, vendors of mobile financial services, researchers, consultants, payment services firms, consumer advocates, and regulators to discuss the new opportunities and challenges presented by emerging technologies in banking and payments. A lively discussion wrapped up the day, as a panel of experts shared different perspectives on balancing innovation with consumer protections.
