Level from FDIC unpublished data on mortgage loans outstanding held in FDIC receivership, Commercial Real Estate Loans; plus, if applicable, a percentage of Construction/Land Development Loans calculated as the ratio of commercial real estate loans to total mortgage loans excluding construction/land development loans; plus, beginning 2023:Q4, a staff estimate of commercial real estate loans held for liquidation in FDIC receivership joint ventures with private entities. Transactions are calculated as the change in level. Data for the most recent ten years show no significant seasonality.
