Michelle A. Smith will continue as Assistant to the Board and Director of Office of Board Members

The Federal Reserve Board on Friday announced that Michelle A. Smith will continue in her position as Assistant to the Board and Director of the Office of Board Members. The Board previously announced that she would be leaving to work for former chairman Alan Greenspan.

Ms. Smith is part of a team overseeing the congressional, media and public information activities of the Board. Other members of the group are Assistants to the Board Winthrop Hambley, David W. Skidmore, and Rose Pianalto Cameron. Ms. Smith and Mr. Skidmore share responsibility as spokespersons, Mr. Hambley manages congressional relations, and Ms. Pianalto oversees public information.

Lynn S. Fox will continue her service as Senior Adviser in the Office of Staff Director for Management. It was previously announced that she would transfer to the Office of Board Members on a temporary basis.
