Fed Listens: How is COVID-19 Affecting Your Community?
May 21, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. EDT
Federal Reserve Board (via webcast)
The Federal Reserve Board will host a Fed Listens event in a virtual format as part of the review of monetary policy strategy, tools, and communication practices. In light of the rapidly changing public health and economic environments since the 14 Fed Listens events held over the course of last year, the Board is convening this event to follow up with leaders from a range of organizations—including unions, small businesses, low- and moderate-income communities, retirees, and others. Chair Jerome H. Powell will provide opening remarks, and Governor Lael Brainard will moderate a panel that will focus on how the pandemic has changed perspectives on the labor market, inflation, and the transmission of monetary policy to households and businesses.
