Approval of proposal by Fédération Nationale du Crédit Agricole and SAS Rue La Boétie

The Federal Reserve Board on Friday announced its approval of the application by Fédération Nationale du Crédit Agricole and SAS Rue La Boétie, both of Paris, France, to become bank holding companies and to retain control of Espirito Santo Bank, Miami, Florida, through their subsidiary in Paris, Crédit Agricole S.A. The Board also approved the application by Calyon, S.A., a foreign bank subsidiary also in Paris of Crédit Agricole S.A., to establish a branch in Los Angeles, California.
