Forums
The Payments System Policy Advisory Committee engages periodically in public outreach by working with payments system providers, participants, and users to identify barriers to improving efficiency and reducing risk in retail and wholesale payment and settlement systems. From time to time the committee conducts forums to address issues of efficiency and risk. Prior to April 2006, these forums were sponsored by the Board's Payments System Development Committee (PSDC), which was formed to advise the Board on medium- and long-term public policy issues surrounding innovation in the retail payments system. The Payments System Policy Advisory Committee has assumed the duties of the PSDC. (Press release)
