This plan is submitted pursuant to the AI in Government Act of 2020 and Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Memorandum M-24-10, "Advancing Governance, Innovation, and Risk Management for Agency Use of Artificial Intelligence," which directs the Board to submit a biennial AI compliance plan to OMB to address how the Board will satisfy the requirements of Section 3(a)(iii) of M-24-10 and Section 104(c) of the AI in Government Act.
