Unadjusted transactions are calculated as one percent of the sum of BEA, NIPA table 3.10.5 Government Consumption Expenditures and General Government Gross Output, State and local consumption expenditures, line 52, Intermediate goods and services purchased, and table 1.5.5 Gross Domestic Product, Expanded Detail, line 59, State and local, Gross investment. Level is obtained by adding unadjusted transactions to preceding level. Data for the most recent ten years show no significant seasonality.
