Capital gains estimated using the change in the Merrill Lynch Corporate Master par weighted price index on long-term assets. Prior to 2010Q4, estimate for short-term corporate bonds calculated as one-sixth of line item cash and receivables minus liabilities. Series includes variable annuity long term mutual funds.
