About the Release RSS Data Download
Effective June 24, 2019, the Federal Reserve Board staff will make a change to the indexation of the daily Broad, AFE, and EME dollar indexes. For more information, see the "Technical Q&As".
The H.10 weekly release contains daily rates of exchange of major currencies against the U.S. dollar. The data are noon buying rates in New York for cable transfers payable in the listed currencies. The rates have been certified by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York for customs purposes as required by section 522 of the amended Tariff Act of 1930.
Release Dates provides an archive of historical H.10 releases. The H.10 release contains daily bilateral exchange rates and nominal dollar indexes from the previous week. Be advised that past releases are not revised and may not reflect subsequent revisions to the data.
Country Data lists historical bilateral exchange rates. These data are current up through the latest H.10 release and are updated weekly on Mondays at 4:15 p.m.
Nominal/Real Indexes are for U.S. dollar indexes: (1) Advanced Foreign Economies (AFE) index, (2) the broad dollar index, and (3) Emerging Market Economies (EME) index. Nominal dollar indexes are available in both daily and monthly frequencies. Real dollar indexes are available only at a monthly frequency.
Currency Weights displays the trade weights that are used in constructing the Major, Broad and OITP dollar indexes.
G.5 provides the monthly release and contains monthly averages of bilateral exchange rates and nominal dollar indexes.
G.5A provides the annual release and contains annual averages of bilateral exchange rates and nominal dollar indexes.
