On March 24, 2014, Crowdfunding for Community Development Finance will be hosted by the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, in partnership with the Federal Reserve Banks of New York and San Francisco. This convening will bring together a small group of thought leaders for a rich discussion on the challenges and opportunities presented by crowdfunding investments as a significant source of capital for the community development industry. The first half of the convening, which will be live streamed, will provide participants with information on the scale and scope of crowdfunding, a discussion of existing platforms, and a brief overview of newly proposed regulations.
