The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis's Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED) program are working together to expand options for finding, accessing, and visualizing data from the Board's Data Download Program (DDP) in FRED. The Financial Accounts of the United States includes data on transactions and levels of financial assets and liabilities, by sector and financial instrument; full balance sheets, including net worth, for households and nonprofit organizations, nonfinancial corporate businesses, and nonfinancial noncorporate businesses; Integrated Macroeconomic Accounts; and additional supplemental detail.

A preview of changes to the upcoming Financial Accounts of the United States (Z.1) release is now available from the current Z.1 release page at www.federalreserve.gov/releases/z1/default.htm. The next release is scheduled for December 12, 2024. Preview content includes: a PDF document, HTML tables, a set of compressed CSV data files with corresponding data dictionary text files, preliminary release highlights, and preliminary code changes.
